We wander the world of stability,

Well acquainted with grief, pain, and sorrow.

Things change, adapting’s our ability,

Our lives, which were great, might change tomorrow.

We RAFT*, we grieve, our heart’s hole still remains.

Our worlds are suddenly wrenched upside down.

We recover, adjust, but still feel pains.

We get mad at life and put on a frown.

And yet this hope we have: in Him we stand,

He is our comforter, our all in all,

He is the Lord, our plans are in His hand,

He guides us through life, lifts us when we fall.

We know that Heaven is where we belong

And there we shall sing the eternal song.
