The breeze in my hair,

Glancing through the depths of its roots, soothing with care.

Longing,

This space and time deny my heart,

Making me bare and empty, searching for what was lost.

Searching for you.

Stuck,

I’m still stuck in that moment,

Where your smile transcended my heart in volumes,

I giggled as I watched you glow from afar,

My oasis, now my deepening reality.

A mini lullaby.

I thank God for your harmonies in time.

Hate,

I hate this feeling I have to bear,

I want to scream!

“Ugh”… you made me like this,

Every waking is coupled with you and every retirement to bed is my prayer,

‘Ahava Rabbah’,

Just as Jesus loved unconditionally,

In you, I learnt to love as Jesus did,

Beautifully, without expecting anything,

Instead, I pray for you.

My prayer is that you shine,

That you emulate light,

God’s majestic light,

Even though you may not be mine,

That your smile, your beauty peak,

May it always be divine.

Beautiful and always on time.

‘Timeless’.

Ahava,

Hebrew for love,

I admit that I was indeed in denial,

Years have passed and not seeing your daylight has made it hard to bear.

My mind you zoned,

Again I take you to God,

Only He knows my heart,

You knowest me not,

Like a flower, you bloomed in my heart without knowing.

My melody, my muse,

Ahava,

Yes, ‘You’.
