Earth, so round, and bright, and spinning,
Full of grace, and mortal sinning,
Surely we shall soon be lost
In this tumult, in this toss.

Our comradeship we’ll not lose—but save.

Our friendship alive, and beautiful, clean.
A country between our beating hearts
A wasteland in the middle of our ends and starts,
But deep within we feel each other close,
In this bright world, we love our friendship most.
