Five plus two, dear dad,
Times the multitude
Equals twelve of such
Heavy blessings much
Of a stunning maths
As a feast of mass.
Five plus two, dear dad,
Is my offering too
As my daily sweat
Of a praying strength,
Laid all in your hands
To solve as your maths.
Five plus two, dear dad,
Multiplied by you
For this waiting lad
As your heart so glad
Equals to what please?
Equals to this bliss:
Five times two, so good,
Plus two added too
Of months as sweet year
Of blessings in cheers
Of life, beautiful.
Dad, my gratitude.
