Temporary: something that isn’t permanent, moves on
I’ve never been it,
Instead, Temporary surrounded me
But now, we meet
I am a tree torn from the soil
Without a home, my roots cannot grow
Temporary: me

What’s it really about?
I am a Christian
I should be better
But no, I often break
Trying to fit in.
But that goes against God’s will
For He asks us not to confine ourselves to the patterns of the world.
Is a Christian one who has few friends?
’Cause that’s what it feels like right now.
